German Apple pie

Last week I made an Apple pie and usually Prince Charming is not soo keen about eating pie but this one ... he almost aet by himself.

He begged me to make another one and therefore this morning the kitchen

(and the rest of the house) was filled with a wonderful scent. I just love the smell of freshed baked goods.

And as the apple slices were simmering on the stove I decided to do pancakes for breakfast. YUMMY.
What a nice way to start a Sunday which we intend to spend on the couch as the weather is aweful.

Rainy and only 63 F brrr - our summer is definetly taking a break.
